Help with the Feds

My El Paso office can act on behalf of residents of the 16th District of Texas to help resolve problems with federal agencies. If you have a problem with a federal agency, please contact my El Paso staff. They will work together with you and the agency involved to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Release of Information Form
The Privacy Act of 1974 requires that you fill out a
Release of Information before we can contact anyone on your behalf. Please explain in detail the problem you are having and provide copies of any related documentation, along with the Release of Information. Then mail, fax or hand-deliver these items to my El Paso Office. All requests for assistance will remain confidential.

While we cannot order a federal agency to decide a matter in your favor, I can ensure that you will be treated fairly.

  • A-Z Index of U.S. Government Departments and Agencies
Government departments, agencies, bureaus, commissions, committees and offices.
  • Executive Branch
The executive branch of the government is responsible for enforcing the laws of the land. The president, vice president, department heads (cabinet members), and heads of independent agencies carry out this mission.
  • Judicial Branch
Courts decide arguments about the meaning of laws and how they are applied. They also decide if laws violate the Constitution—this is known as judicial review, and it is how federal courts provide checks and balances on the legislative and executive branches.
  • Legislative Branch
Article I of the Constitution establishes the legislative or law making branch of government. It has a two-branch Congress—the Senate and the House of Representatives—and agencies that support Congress.
