Interns
Internships for college students are available in Congressman Reyes' Washington, D.C. and El Paso Offices.
Interns assist with general office duties including answering phones, organizing incoming mail and assisting with research and tracking of various legislative topics. An internship in the congressional office gives students a first-hand look at democracy in action, and particularly how the federal government functions in this role.
Most interns receive school credit for completing an internship, which generally lasts the length of a semester. To arrange credit for an internship, students should contact their university. Rep. Reyes' office does not provide housing or travel expenses for interns, however a list of housing options in Washington, D.C. is available upon request from the Washington office.
